Through the development of new applications in science, engineering, and business, Computer Science is radi-cally changing the way in which we experience our world. This programme equips students with the skills need-ed to contribute to this exciting and rapidly evolving field.
This course aims to enable the student to develop the skills required to comprehend Computer Systems, be they terminology, models, methodologies, structures (or topologies), timing, number representation and a general introduction to basic computer systems. Students will be introduced to the basic concepts of imperative computer programming using Python and other languages. Students will learn basic programming constructs and describe their manifestation in different programming languages.
