Our course introduces students to the core principles and practices of engineering, covering key skills such as mathematics, physics, information technology, research methods, and design principles. Through lectures and practical sessions, students will learn how to gather and assess data to develop industrial engineering strategies. Studies will give them the confidence to apply scientific and engineering knowledge critically. Individual and group projects will challenge students to integrate structural, environmental and sustainable design principles into their work. Working with medical and science students develops an understanding of the technical aspects of designing bio-products. This cross-discipline teamwork gives you an insight into the design problems and professional relationships you could experience in your future career. Teaching includes lectures, workshops, tutorials and practical classes.
